This broccoli salad recipe is an excellent salad for a summer cookout. Everyone will enjoy tangy, refreshing, and full of yummy sweet/salty flavor!

Ingredients

  • 2 pound broccoli crowns
  • 2 green apples
  • 1 kohlrabi (optional)
  • 1/2 cup  dried black currants
  • 1/2 cup diced red onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • roasted strawberry dressing

Instructions

  • Chop the broccoli florets into ½-inch pieces. You can also lightly steam the broccoli.
  • Dice the apples and onions into small pieces.
  • Transfer the ingredients to a bowl. Add strawberry dressing and toss to coat.
  • Season to taste, let it marinade for at least 2 hours.
  • Add currants, and serve.
