Ingredients

  • 2 Avocados ripe, pelled and pitted
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt or sour cream or Mexican Crema
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Lime juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the pits. Scoop the flesh out of the avocados and place it into a food processor or blender.
Add the Yogurt: Spoon the Greek yogurt into the food processor or blender with the avocado flesh. The yogurt will add creaminess and a tangy flavor to the avocado cream.
Squeeze in the Lime Juice: Squeeze fresh lime juice over the avocado and yogurt mixture. The lime juice adds a refreshing citrus flavor and helps prevent the avocados from browning.
Season with Salt: Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the ingredients in the food processor or blender. The salt will enhance the flavors and balance the sweetness of the avocado and the tanginess of the yogurt.
Blend Until Smooth: Secure the lid on the food processor or blender and blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides of the container as needed to ensure everything is well incorporated.
Taste and Adjust: Once blended, taste the avocado cream and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more salt or lime juice if desired to suit your taste preferences.
Serve or Store: Transfer the avocado cream to a bowl and serve immediately as a dip, spread, or dressing. Alternatively, you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a day. If storing, press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the avocado cream to prevent browning.
