Ingredients

  • 1 lbs Ground beef
  • 1 lbs Ground chicken
  • 2 tbsp Garlic minced
  • 3/4 cup Red onion finely diced
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Thyme chopped
  • 1 tbsp Rosemary chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Garlic chili paste
  • 1/2 cup Bread crumbs optional, gluten-free or almond meal
  • 3 cup Cranberry sauce

Instructions

  • Mix ground beef, ground turkey, eggs, sautéed onion and garlic, rosemary, thyme, and gluten-free bread crumbs or almond meal in a bowl.
    2. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
    3. Bake in the oven at 350 F for 25 minutes until golden brown and almost cooked through.
    4. While the meatballs bake, prepare the weet and spicy sauce: combine cranberry sauce, garlic chili paste, and a touch of wtaer in a skillet over medium heat.
    5. Add the baked meatballs to the skillet, letting them simmer gently in the sauce until coated and glossy for 5 minutes.
    6. Serve over mashed potatoes.
