To make Mizeria, you'll need the following ingredients:
- 4 medium-sized cucumbers, thinly sliced, English cucumbers are best
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 bunch of radish
- 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- black pepper optional
- red onion, green onion or chives optional - diced
Making Mizeria is incredibly easy and takes only a few minutes. Here are the steps:
Start by slicing the cucumbers and radishes thinly. You can use a mandoline or a sharp knife to do this.
Place the sliced cucumbers and radish in a bowl and sprinkle with salt. Toss to coat and set aside for 10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix together the sour cream and chopped dill.
Once the cucumbers have released some of their water, drain off the excess liquid and add the cucumbers to the bowl with the sour cream mixture.
Toss the cucumbers and radishes with the sour cream mixture until they are coated evenly.
Mix with lemon juice.
Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
That's it! Your Mizeria is ready to enjoy.
