Ingredients

Instructions

  • Pour all the honey into the bowl of a stand up mixer with a whisk attachment.
    2. Turn the mixer on the highest speed it will go and set the timer for 20 minutes.
    3. Zest an orange and add the orange zest and the vanilla to the mixer while it’s going.
    4. After 20 minutes, the honey will turn a light color and have quite a few air bubbles in it.
    5. Pour into jars or containers of your choice.

Notes

* The whipped honey will thicken up a bit but not to a solid state. The smooth consistency prevents crystallization, unlike traditional honey.
* You can use a hand mixer, if needed.
* Raw, unfiltered honey is not heated or filtered, which can strip away many beneficial compounds found in honey.
