  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl or do this step by melting the chocolate in a water bath.
    2. Place the pecans in a blender and blend several times.
    3. In a large bowl, mix the crushed pecans, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and crushed cloves. Mix lightly.
    4. Pour the melted chocolate over the dry ingredients and mix well with a spatula or spoon.
    5. Leave the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set slightly and make it easier to shape the balls.
    6. Form small balls and roll in your chosen rolling mixture. Place back in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes and serve.
    7. The chocolate truffles can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
