Plus, the invigorating scent of coffee is the perfect pick-me-up for your morning routine! What is a Coffee Sugar Body Scrub?

A coffee sugar body scrub combines two effective exfoliants—ground coffee and sugar—to create a powerful yet gentle scrub. Thanks to their grainy texture, these ingredients help remove dead skin cells, revealing smooth, glowing skin.

The best part? It’s a DIY coffee scrub meaning you can skip store-bought options loaded with harmful chemicals that aren’t great for hormonal balance. Typically made with oils like coconut, olive oil or avocado oil, the scrub also deeply hydrates, leaving you with soft skin you’ll love running your hands over.

How It Works

This scrub relies on the principle of exfoliation. The grainy particles physically remove dirt, dead skin, and clogged pores, while caffeine boosts skin elasticity and circulation. The scrub also nourishes the skin with oils and antioxidants, laying the foundation for long-term skin health.

Health Benefits of Coffee Sugar Scrub for Women

This scrub is an essential addition to skincare, and I know you will love it as much as I do.

  • Exfoliation for Radiant Skin

The scrub eliminates dead skin cells, leaving your skin glowing. It unclogs pores, preventing breakouts and promoting smooth, soft skin. Unlike harsh synthetic scrubs, the natural sugar crystals are gentle enough for sensitive skin, making this DIY solution a good thing for all skin types.

  • Caffeine and Skin Elasticity

Did you know caffeine plays a unique role in skincare? It’s a natural astringent that tightens, firms and reduces signs of cellulite and puffiness. When I discovered a coffee body scrub at one of the organis shops in Colorado, I knew I had to make my own because of its benefits and how it felt on my skin. • Relaxation

The invigorating smell of coffee is pure bliss when you put it on your body! 😊 When I first used this scrub, I got hooked on it because of its wonderful smell. I use this scrub to exfoliate my skin and as a self-care ritual and relaxation that helps me rejuvenate after a long day.

How to Make it

  1. Make sure that the ingredients are at room temperature.
  2. Add 4 tablespoons of used coffee grounds to the medium bowl.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of sugar (I had brown sugar on hand, but you can also use white sugar or cane sugar).
  4. Add 10 drops of vanilla extract.
  5. Add ¼ cup of almond oil or melted coconut oil.
  6. Mix together. I initially attempted for this to be whipped, so I added about 4 tablespoons of melted shea butter. This did not make it whipped but made it add moisture and protection for your skin.
  7. Stir until the mixture forms a paste-like consistency.
  8. Store your scrub in an airtight container, like a mason jar, for up to a few weeks.

Tips for Use

  • Apply the scrub to wet skin in a circular motion for even exfoliation.
  • Use 2-3 times a week for best results.
  • Avoid delicate areas like your face if using coarser sugar (consider gentler alternatives for sensitive skin).

Coffee’s Detoxifying Properties
