This strawberry lavender lemonade is a refreshing, easy summer recipe made with strawberry purée, lemon juice, and floral lavender syrup. A quick homemade strawberry lemonade recipe that feels like your favorite summer drink.

As a nutrition consultant and chef, I’m always chasing that perfect balance between flavor and feeling good in your body, and this strawberry lavender lemonade is exactly that kind of magic in a glass. It reminds me of those warm afternoons when strawberry season is at its peak, when the berries are so sweet they almost melt between your fingers. Add to that the soft, aromatic whisper of lavender season, and suddenly you’re not just making a drink, you’re creating a moment.

My family used to make this strawberry lavender lemonade during strawberry season in Poland. I used to work on a farm and pick strawberries, so I brought a lot of them home. Strawberries are my favorite summer fruit, and we kids were the first to eat them. The recipes were simple but oh so delicious! Simple as strawberry with whipped cream (sooo good!), strawberry cheesecake, rhubarb strawberry parfait, fermented strawberry and berry soda, or strawberry coulis, which we added to desserts and ice cream.

This strawberry lavender lemonade is bright, slightly floral, deeply refreshing, and just a little bit unexpected. It’s become one of my favorite go-to summer drinks, something I make when friends come over for my summer potlucks.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Perfect balance of sweet, tart, and floral
  • Perfect refreshing drink for summer parties
  • Easy to make it in big batches
Four glasses of strawberry lavender lemonade with ice, garnished with strawberries, lavender sprigs, and mint. Fresh strawberries, lemon wedges, and mint leaves are scattered on a white surface in the background.

Ingredients for Strawberry Lavender Lemonade

  • Strawberry purée: I love using fresh strawberries blended into a silky purée because it gives the lemonade body and natural sweetness
  • Lemon juice: Freshly squeezed lemon juice is essential here. It cuts through the sweetness and brings that bright, zesty edge that defines a great lemonade. Bottled just doesn’t have the same spark.
  • Lavender syrup: Lavender adds a soft, floral note that transforms this from a simple drink into a delicious botanical drink. It should be subtle, not like drinking perfume. You can make your own lavender syrup or order this one.
  • Allulose: I use allulose instead of sugar because, honestly, we don’t need that much sugar or blood sugar spikes. Starwberries contain natural sugar, and that is enough. But if you want, you can use regular sugar.

Did you know?

One thing I’ve learned playing with lavender recipes is that lavender behaves a lot like salt in cooking, a tiny pinch elevates everything, but just a little too much and it completely takes over.

Three glasses of vibrant Strawberry Lavender Lemonade, garnished with basil and strawberries, sit on a white surface with an empty glass of ice in front. Fresh strawberries, lemon wedges, and basil leaves are scattered around.

How to Make Strawberry Lavender Lemonade

  • Wash strawberries and cut the ends. Then blend strawberries into a smooth purée.
  • Combine strawberry purée with freshly squeezed lemon juice in a pitcher.
  • Stir in lavender syrup.
  • Add allulose and mix until fully dissolved.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed
  • Add cold water to your preferred strength. You can also add mineral water instead of regular water.
  • Chill well and serve over ice.

Ingredient Substitutions

  • Strawberry purée: Swap with mashed raspberries or a mixed berry blend
  • Lemon juice: Try lime juice or orange juice for a slightly different citrus profile. I also like to add yuzu juice, which I really like.
  • Lavender syrup: Replace with rose syrup or skip for a classic version
  • Allulose: Use honey or maple syrup if you prefer a natural sweetener
