Every time I make this blueberry smoothie, I am immediately transported back to my childhood summers in Poland.
Growing up, blueberry season was something we looked forward to all year. My family would wake up early on warm summer mornings and head into the forest carrying small buckets and baskets. The forest floor would be covered with tiny wild blueberries, and we would spend hours picking them.
