How To Make Yogurt Bark with Berries

This Frozen yogurt bark recipe with berries and nuts makes for a delicious, healthy dessert or snack for the whole family. It provides the much-needed energy boost and deliciousness that makes even the fussy eaters come back for more.

Ingredients and Substitutions For Greek Yogurt Bark

  • Full-fat Yogurt – For the best frozen and creamy results, use full-fat Greek yogurt or whole milk with higher fat content. Low-fat or fat-free yogurt often becomes icy when frozen, and you won’t experience the delicious, creamy taste. You can also use flavored yogurt for added sweetness.
  • Sweetener– This will depend on how sweet you want your frozen yogurt bark. You can sweeten the yogurt with honey, stevia, vanilla extract, jam, or jelly. Or you do not have to use it at all.
  • Fruit– You can use different kinds of fruit as long as you cut them into small pieces that are easy to eat when frozen. Some of the fruits you can use include raspberries, strawberries and even blueberries. Just ensure they are thinly sliced.
  • Nuts– Nuts make some of the best toppings. I love to use walnuts but you can also use granola or almonds. You can also top it with melted white or dark chocolate if you’re not a big fan of nuts.

I mean it when I tell you this is one of the easiest healthy snacks you can make. It consists of simple ingredients, no added sugars, crunchy toppings, and healthy fats. It is one of the best low-calorie desserts you can have, not to mention a gut-friendly recipe.

  • For dairy-free options, you can substitute Plain Greek yogurt with, dairy-free yogurts, coconut yogurt, almond milk yogurt or even soy yogurt.
